L’Associazione OMA ha sede legale e operativa a Carbonia – Sardegna – , e altre tre sedi nei paesi di Gonnesa, Santadi e Teulada in cui confluiscono anche i paesi dei dintorni, offrendo un’alternativa sociale e culturale sia ai giovani che ai meno giovani. Le attività dell’Associazione hanno operato per creare una vera e propria rete di scambi culturali e sociali  per l’integrazione, lo sviluppo di principi di umanità, solidarietà e collaborazione.

Vi è anche lo scopo di cambiare la prospettiva del musicista portandolo a fare musica attivamente: per questo l’Associazione ha dato vita ad una grande orchestra moderna – la OMA Big Band –  che conta oggi più di cento elementi e che ha all’attivo 11 concerti, portando il nostro esempio di integrazione e mostrando le varie sfaccettature che solo un gruppo così eterogeneo può rivelare.

The OMA Association has its legal and operational headquarters in Carbonia – Sardinia – and three other offices in the towns of Gonnesa, Santadi and Teulada. They offer a social and cultural alternative to both young and old in the surroundings towns. The activities of the Association have worked to create a real network of cultural and social exchanges, for integration and development of principles of humanity, as well as, solidarity and collaboration.
There is also the aim of changing the perspective of the musician by bringing him to making music: for this reason the Association has created a large modern orchestra – the OMA Big Band – which now has more than a hundred elements and has 11 concerts to its credit, demonstrating our example of integration and showing the various facets that only a group so heterogeneous can reveal.
